Proud To Have It....???

Do you really proud to have something different in your life compare to others?? Well, it should be like that for a person named human..

Last Friday, I've got an opportunity to watch the grand finale of "So You Think You Can Dance" season two... I do follow the journey of this 20 young Malaysian in searching the title Malaysian Favourite Dancers.. And for this season, the winner was a Chinese girl, CC... For the last season, it was Alam. This reality television show was adapted from the USA was hosted by Aishah Sinclair ( she's so beautiful.... ) and being judge by Ramli Ibrahim, Judimar and Pat Ibrahim, become more popular from previous season...

But what I'm trying to say here is we should proud to have what we have, a difference between our culture and a new modern world out there.. I admit that I'm one this reality show fans but something should be change for next season... ( If there will be SYTYCD season 3 ).

In Malaysia, we have so many culture that mixed together.. And I think, the person-in-charge for this programme should stress more on our own culture of dance... We have so many types of dancing, makyong, inang, zapin, samrah, joget, and I believe youngsters nowadays didn't really know about this types of dance.. And from my observation, most of the participants for SYTYCD only know the modern dance such as hip hop, contemporary, salsa and so on..

My opinion is we should stress more on our own dance.. This kind of reality show should take local dance as their prirority in order to protect our culture and to show the world about our dance. There is nothing wrong putting global type of dance such as salsa or hip hop or what so ever, but we are adapting the show from outside and we should not produce the same result as them.. We need to give out something different according to our culture and being a responsible to Malaysian to protect our culture and be proud of it because we are different from others..

And in my opinion, the winner of SYTYCD at least know to dance the traditional dance.. Because it will show the true Malaysian.. Just my humble opinion...

Anyway congrats to CC.. And the previous winner, Alam... You guys rocks... And you are the Malaysians Favourite Dancers...

SO?? PROUD TO HAVE A GREAT CULTURE...??? I THINK WE SHOULD BE PROUD... :)
